Support our charitable mission by volunteering
Wildwood Escot is often helped by volunteers who assist our teams around the park. We welcome volunteers from a range of different backgrounds and "walks of life" and offer them the opportunity to get hands-on with many different tasks around the park, from cleaning and maintenance to assisting with our animal collection. Please note that due to the high demand for volunteer places and limited availability, we have waiting lists and may not be able to contact unsuccessful applicants.
We have opportunities to volunteer within our various teams at Wildwood Escot (volunteers must be 18 years+):
• Keeper team
• Garden and maintenance team
• Education team
• Admission and customer service team
If you are interested in volunteering at Wildwood Escot for any department please download and complete the ‘Volunteer Interest Form’ or contact Jaie Goddard, Assistant Park Manager, on for more details.
Wildwood's Wetland Project
Would you like to be involved in our brand new Wetlands Project? Are you interested in conservation and would you like some first-hand experience?
If yes, Wildwood Escot has the volunteer role for you! Starting this September, Wildwood's Wetland is going to be undergoing a drastic redevelopment. Over the past few years it has become overgrown and rather unruly! Our aim is to restore the area to its brilliant former habitat, there by increasing biodiversity of the flora and fauna.
We recognise this is going to be a mammoth undertaking therefore we are asking for people to volunteer their time for a really worthwhile project.
If this sounds like something you would be interested in please contact Charly Mead for more details, on for more details.
